SUBURBAN * POP

Meant to post this in November, but better late than never: SoCal locals you have a few more days to check out the California Cool: Mid Century Modernism on the Central Coast exhibit at the Museum of Ventura County! It is indeed super cool and absolutely worth a drive to see! (Make a night of it and stay here). The central coast, where we are lucky to call home, has some modern treasures that often get skipped over, so it was wonderful to see an entire exhibit dedicated to the mid century design coming out of the region. The space is filled with an impressive collection of CA craft, including Architectural Pottery, Stan Bitters, Forms and Surfaces, and Jerome and Evelyn Ackerman! Up until Feb 23 so hurry if you want to check it out!
